Our expectations of adopters

We want to have a lasting relationship with you. We guarantee support throughout the life of your dog; whether this is reaching out to us if you have any questions or concerns, sending updates, or if you want to have a puppy playdate with the parents and littermates. Our number one priority is the wellbeing of the dog.

We require a contract in order to adopt one of our dogs. The contract states that if anything should happen, where you are no longer able to care for the dog, we will take over ownership of the dog. We also require an annual photo update of the dog (but love updates any chance you get).

We expect that adopters will provide a safe and loving home with access to veterinary care for the dog, including regular routine wellness visits and emergency care. Our dogs are vet checked, microchipped, and vaccinated with the required vaccines for their age. After the dog is in your ownership, you are responsible to continue with the puppy’s vaccinations. Puppies are very susceptible to illness. The puppy should not go in any public areas until they are fully vaccinated at around four to five months of age. If you have a private yard, you can let them outside with your supervision at your own risk.

“All his life he tried to be a good person. Many times, however, he failed. For after all, he was only human. He wasn’t a dog.” – Charles M Schulz (cartoonist, “Peanuts”)
